How It Works?

Dedicating each day to serving the future of India, our mission is to empower society by:

  • Promoting education:  By providing educational resources and opportunities, we aim to uplift the future generation and create a knowledgeable society.
  • Encouraging volunteerism: By encouraging individuals to volunteer their time and skills, we can create a supportive and caring community that works together for the common good.
  • Supporting underprivileged communities: By working with and supporting  marginalised communities, we can strive to address social and economic inequalities, and create a more just and equitable society.
  • “The world may not change if you adopt a child, but for that child, their world will change”.
  • So, we at HARINA Foundation make an effort every Monday to bring these adopted children into the fold of education and provide them with a better standard of living irrespective of their financial difficulties.
  • Dr. M.S. Swaminathan (Father of Green Revolution in India) once said “If Agriculture goes wrong, nothing else will have a chance to go right”. As rightly said in India farmers face many challenges from crop cultivation to soil erosion.

  • But the problem is for many decades we have thought that farmers are “Illiterates” and we have justified ourselves as “Modern Literates”, but the real question is are we really.??.

  • So, every Tuesday HARINA foundation is trying to bring in the initiative to showcase the real talent of these farmers by collaborating with the students and stakeholders of society.
  • Student Suicides in India have reached an all-time high in 2022. As per reports by National Crime Records Bureau, NCRB, student suicides saw an increase of 4.5 percent as compared to 2021.

  • Trauma and discrimination are strong risk factors for suicide in youth. Reducing stigma and increasing awareness and commitment to suicide prevention, including allocating resources, is the hour’s need.

  • If we don’t try to change the current statistics and ignore the problem at hand, then it may lead to grave errors in our country’s HCI (Human capital Index) and GDP(Gross Domestic Product).

  • So, every Wednesday at HARINA Foundation our esteemed team of psychiatrists, career counsellors, and doctors give one-on-one counselling, peer support, and individual therapy to students so that they can have Self-esteem and a sense of purpose or meaning in life.
  • Mark Zuckerberg was just 20 years old when he started his company Facebook in 2004. In India, Ritesh Aggarwal started OYO Rooms in 2013 when he was just 20 years old.

  • Today, it has grown into a global chain of hotels and rooms & Ola Cabs co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal was only 26 years old when he launched the popular ridesharing platform. Fact is India’s population is among the youngest in the aging world.

  • However, the youth does not have many opportunities to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. So, we at HARINA Foundation every Thursday give opportunities to young Entrepreneurs to showcase their Ideas that can change the Modern World & we can do seed-funding after complete evaluation.
  • “The Activist is not the man who says the river is dirty. The activist is the one who cleans the river.” said Ross Perot. Because of Deforestation, we have lost almost 40% of our forests due to the conversion of forested areas to non-forested areas. And especially in India, at the beginning of the twentieth century, forests covered about 30%; by the end of the century, they shrunk to 19.4%.

  • Trees play a vital role in the survival of all living organisms and are the primary source of oxygen on Earth.

  • It is impossible to imagine planet Earth without any greenery on it. So, at HARINA Foundation we have started a Sapling Plantation drive every Friday in collaboration with the students associated with Elite E2, so that they might improve environmental conditions also by encouraging them to help in reducing pollution by planting more & more trees.
